Stay 15–20 minutes inside, then exit to the viewing platform overlooking Haridwar. The town spreads below, the Ganges curves through it, and if you time it right, you see the aarti beginning at the ghat below. The view is the main reward. Sit on a bench and absorb it before heading back down.
