Easy transfers to and in Ranthambore
- Safaris are in open-air vehicles with fixed seating. Choose a morning safari in cool season (November–February) and sit on the shadier side if possible. Ask the guide and driver to place you by a window.
- The fort walk involves stone steps and rocky terrain. Wear shoes with good grip, carry water and a hat, and pace yourself. You can rest on walls and skip higher sections if needed.
- Hospitals are in Sawai Madhopur near the station. Note the location of the nearest one to your hotel. Bring any regular medications with you and a basic first aid kit.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
