Easy transfers to and in Somnath
- Triveni Sangam and Prabhas Patan involve modest walking on uneven ground; wear good shoes and a hat. Bhalka is a longer drive (50+ km each way) and is better as a half-day trip rather than a full outing.
- Hire a car and driver for the entire stay rather than relying on autos. It provides shade, a rest place and flexibility. A full day's car hire is inexpensive and worth every rupee.
