Bhim Nala Falls & Chungthang
A tall waterfall beside the Chungthang-Lachung road near Khedum village, and the natural stop to break up a long, and since 2023 sometimes rough, drive through Chungthang on the way to Lachung.

The road's practical end above Yumthang, at roughly 4,700 metres, where glacier-fed streams meet under permanent snow, with the last army posts before the India-China border out of sight beyond.

The final stretch only opens once the army-maintained road is clear of snow, so confirm with your driver on the morning itself.

Yumthang Hot Spring
A modest natural warm spring beside the Lachung Chu, a short walk from the main Yumthang meadow, where visitors dip a hand or foot into geothermally heated water against a backdrop of near-freezing air.

A high hanging meadow at 3,564 metres where more than twenty rhododendron species bloom from late February to mid-June, with the Lachung Chu river running through pastures still used for summer yak grazing.
