- Hire a car and driver for the day rather than taking autos between sights. It gives you a cool place to rest and avoids long walks.
- Carry water, a hat, sunscreen and socks for temple floors. Marble can be very hot underfoot.
- Hospitals and pharmacies are concentrated around GS Road and Pan Bazaar. Note the nearest one to your hotel before starting.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
- Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
