Easy transfers to and in Kaziranga
- Hire a car and driver if you plan to visit multiple gates or do side trips like Mikir Hill. Roads are rough in places, and having your own vehicle with a driver means you can rest between stops.
- Carry broad-spectrum sunscreen, a hat, water, and socks for open jeep time. The sun reflects off the grass, and there is no shade during safari.
- Ask your hotel to arrange hotel-to-gate transport; walking to gates or from parking areas can be far. Some gates have long walks from the car park to the jeep assembly point.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
