Easy transfers to and in Ujjain
- Hire a car and driver for the full day rather than walking between temples. It provides a cool rest space and avoids long walks in heat and crowded lanes.
- Carry water, a hat, sunscreen and socks for temple floors, which are often uneven and very hot in afternoon. Keep medications and a copy of prescriptions with you.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
- Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
