Easy transfers to and in Mysuru

  • Choose a hotel with lifts, near a hospital or pharmacy. C-type Bangalore hospitals have Mysuru branches if urgent care is needed.
  • A private car and driver is worth hiring for Chamundi Hill, Shravanabelagola and Brindavan Gardens. It gives you rest between sights and avoids walking to distant parking.
  • Carry water, a hat and sunscreen. Temple floors are cool but can be slippery after ritual washings. Socks are useful if you are removing shoes frequently.
  • Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
  • Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
  • Choose arrivals in daylight where you can, and keep the first afternoon free to rest.
