Easy transfers to and in Nalanda
- The archaeological site involves walking on uneven brick surfaces and some short climbs. Hire a private guide and car, and take frequent breaks. Walking shoes with good grip are essential.
- Hire a car and driver for the full duration. It saves energy and allows flexibility for rest stops.
- Carry water, a hat and sunscreen. Hydration is critical, especially in the dry season. Avoid midday outdoor activities from April to June.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
