Easy transfers to and in Tso Moriri
- Arrange a reliable driver and vehicle. An SUV or Jeep is safer than a sedan. Ensure your driver has experience with high-altitude plateau driving and knows the road to Tso Moriri.
- Stock medications and supplies from Leh. There is no medical facility at Tso Moriri; the nearest clinic is hours away. Carry prescribed medications, painkillers, anti-diarrhoeal tablets, antacids and any personal medical equipment.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
- Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
