Easy transfers to and in Jodhpur
- Choose a hotel in Sardarpura or Ratanada rather than inside the old city for easier car access, better medical facilities and quieter nights.
- Hire a car and driver for the entire stay. It provides air-conditioned rest between sights and avoids long walks in heat.
- Carry water, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen and electrolyte tablets. The desert heat is unforgiving, even in winter.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
